Membership fee, activity fee and license
Membership fees and activity fees are paid to Oppsal Basket. The member is then given the right to train with the club for one year (one season). In addition, a license must be purchased by everyone who participates in league games from the age of 13. The license is mandatory and must be paid before league games can be played.
The license is paid to the Norwegian Basketball Association and is an insurance that covers any injuries that occur in matches and organized training through a club, region or association during the season.

License
Alle som deltar i seriespill må løse lisens fra den dagen man fyller 13 år. Lisensen er obligatorisk og må være betalt før kamp spilles. Lisensen er en avgift til NBBF sentralt.

Tournaments
Lagene deltar gjerne i flere turneringer etter egne planer. Klubben oppfordrer for minst én turnering med overnatting. Lagene organiserer økonomien for deltakelsene internt.
Camper
I Oslo-området er det flere klubber som arrangerer camper. Også Oppsal basket gjør dette. Vi har 2-3 uker hver sommer, høstferie- og vinterferieuken. Deltakelsen er frivillig og betales av deltakere selv.
Utstyr
Det går helt fint å trene med joggesko, t-skjorte og shorts for unge basketspillere. Etterhvert er det hensiktsmessig med basketsko. Klubben oppfordrer foreldre å unngå innkjøp av dyre drakter og utstyr til bruk på treninger. Fra U14 kjøper spillerne gjerne basketsko, shooting shirt, shorts, etc for ca. 1000,-2000,- per sesong. Klubben stiller med drakter til kamper.
